PNNL Office Building

The PNNL Office Building consists primarily of an administration building, with limited dry lab and storage support. The building has five large air-handling units, four of the five air-handling units have economizers and serve the office areas of the building. The building is heated by hot water supplied from a boiler located within the building and two 250-ton chillers provide the chilled water for cooling.

This field test site is a 72,700-square foot office building. It has four central air-handling units (AHUs) that condition the space. The building uses a Johnson Controls MetasysTM energy management and control system (EMCS).

Data required for diagnosis of ventilation and economizer operation are automatically collected hourly from four AHUs.
